Diet Patterns and What Evidence Shows

No single food can prevent prostate cancer. Instead, it’s more important to focus on your overall eating habits than on any one meal or so-called “superfood.” Try a plant-based diet that includes vegetables, fruits, beans, whole grains, nuts, and healthy oils. Cut back on processed meats, sugary drinks, and highly processed foods. Weight, strength, protein, and calories are important during treatment and recovery. While a good diet can help with energy, heart health, digestion, and recovery, it cannot replace regular screening or medical care.
