Limited Access to Radioligand Therapy in Rural Areas

Because not everyone can easily travel, there’s a concern that rural or underserved patients might experience delays in getting radioligand therapy or might not get it at all. This is a health care equity issue. Some regions are exploring mobile nuclear medicine units or partnerships to deliver and administer doses at smaller hospitals occasionally, reducing the travel burden.
