Preparing for Doctor Visits
Being prepared for doctor’s appointments helps you feel more in control and have less anxiety. Gather medical records (PSA test results, biopsy reports, imaging results, summaries of past treatments, medications, supplements, and whether you are experiencing side effects). Make sure to mention things that are important to you, such as identity, goals, and anything else. Jot down any questions you have so you don’t forget them. There are no dumb questions. And, since you are taking lessons here at Cancer Academy, you will likely be your doctor’s most informed and respected patient.
